Diamond in the Rough Paydirt

The herkimer diamond (double-terminated quartz crystals) has widely grown in popularity due to its diamond like colors that reflect back and how clear a piece can be. This paydirt is made up of herkimer diamonds mined in the herkimer area of NY and is a great bag for the beginning panner or anyone that likes some nice an interesting stones to go through. While I try to make the bags as random as possible, I did ensure that each bag does contain at least 1 big piece of herkimer so that you are not just picking through tiny shards (Broken Pieces). Herkimers in this bag can range from shards to pieces over 1 inch long.
